In both positive review response examples, we expressed gratitude. By changing the wording each time (or using a different template), your customers will appreciate that you took their review to heart and read what they have to say.

Reading how much you loved our (product/service) made all of us at (name of your company) happy! Thank you for the kind review (name of the customer)! We’re looking forward to your opinion on our new (product/service) that will be available next month!


Pro tip:
Whenever possible, try to inform your customers about a new product or service, or an event you’re organizing shortly. This helps make the most of your response.

Pro tip:
This one is different from other positive review response examples because it seems a bit excessive at first. It’s not, it’s simply matching the tone of the review (which you should always do). Use this one if your customer went out of their way to compliment you!

Thank you for an awesome review about (product), (name of the customer). Pleased to hear it’s working as intended and you’re having a blast using it! We’ve passed on your comments to the product team, and they especially loved how (a callback to the content of the review)!

Let us know if there’s anything else we can do for you. Always a pleasure seeing you in our store at (location).


Pro tip:
While this response is aimed at companies that have a physical store and their product, it’s still an opportunity to learn. If possible, make references to a specific statement from the review. That way, your customer will feel heard and know you actually took the time to read what they had to say.


How To Respond To Shorter Reviews


Not all reviews will be detailed - five-star reviews may be as long as a tweet. In some cases, a positive review won’t even have a comment attached to it.
